Forever Home
Forever Home is an animated short film by Ashley Wong, currently doing the festival circuit. It tells the story of Benson, a three-legged mastiff who lives alone in a quiet house. He spends his days content to watch the world go by — until one day, a mysterious dog shows up at his doorstep, followed by many more. It's a story of friendship, loyalty, and unconditional love.
I was lucky to be invited to be part of this beautiful short film, composing music alongside a good friend of mine, vocalist Lauren Malamala. *Forever Home* has had a successful festival run, with official selections including the Chattanooga Film Festival, Sidewalk Film Festival, Gig Harbor Film Festival, Spark Animation Festival 2026 (an Oscar-qualifying festival), and the Mobile Animation Film Festival.
